The third annual e-Mobility Stakeholders Conference and Expo is scheduled to take place from May 4 to 6, 2025, at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC) in Nairobi.

According to Kenya Power, preparations for the high-profile event are almost complete.

The conference is being organized in collaboration with GIZ Kenya and the Electric Mobility Association of Kenya (EMAK).

Over 1,000 participants from both the public and private sectors are expected to attend the event, which aims to promote innovation, policy discussions, and investment opportunities in the electric mobility sector.

The conference will kick off with a 77-kilometre e-mobility parade across Nairobi and its environs. This will be followed by two days of discussions under the theme “Nurturing Growth of E-mobility in Kenya,” featuring keynote speeches, expert panels, and networking sessions.

“Preparations for the third edition of the e-Mobility Conference and Expo are going on well, with final touches expected by Friday this week. This year’s event aligns with the needs and trends in the industry. We look forward to great conversations, exchanging ideas, and showcasing innovations that will accelerate the adoption of e-mobility in Kenya,” said Kenya Power CEO Joseph Siror.

The conference will host 40 exhibitions showcasing key players in the e-mobility value chain. Exhibitors will include electric vehicle assemblers, battery swapping service providers, financiers, and insurance firms.

Members of the public will also have the opportunity to take test drives of electric vehicles during the three-day event.
