    Kwale County Bans Sale Of Miraa After Massive Rejection Of Youth In KDF Recruitment

    The county assembly in Kwale has banned the sale of Miraa in the county after massive rejection during the recent KDF recruitment exercise.

    The youth in the Kwale revealed that the massive rejection was as a result of consumption of Miraa especially on the teeth. Miraa is believed to have a browning effect on the dental formula.

    For one to be recruitment to the army the require to have a good dental formula.

    The MCAs also said that Miraa was a cause of the youth deteriorating in the county and therefore banning the substance would be a step in the right direction.

    The motion was tabled by Antony Yama of Kasemen ward and received a unanimous vote.
