Machakos businessman Peter Mwangangi Mula was found dead in Masinga Sub-county. His body had been tied up on the car seat and police believe that his death was as a result of being injected with a lethal substance.
Masinga OCPD, Francis Siror said that more than 100 needles were found alongside the body of the contractor. He also revealed that the body had blood stains on the stomach where the syringes may have been injected.
Mwangangi was last seen at his famous REXX Bar in Kanyoonyoo near Matuu town with friends but left after a phone call . He said that the caller asked him to help him cross a police road block with his driving license.
“It was established that on Wednesday between 3pm and 4pm, Mr Mula was with his friends taking beer at Kanyoonyoo market centre. He was signaled out of the bar and told his friends that the caller had requested him for his driving license in order to drive past a police road block at Kanyoonyoo,” the report says.

The police are yet to establish the reason behind the killing of Peter Mwangangi Mula. His body was taken to Embu Mortuary while his car was towed to Masinga police station
