The High Court Machakos has ordered IEBC officials to produce materials used in the elections.This was during the first hearing of the petition filed by Wavinya Ndeti to contest the election of Alfred Mutua as governor of Machakos county.

The court gave IEBC one week to avail the electronic kits and other materials to determine whether there were malpractices in the gubernatorial race.
Wavinya Ndeti averred that the Machakos Gubernatorial race was marred with irregularities and rigging. She claimed that there non gazetted polling centers that led to the unlawful announcement of Governor Mutua as the winner of the race.
