It has been a week full of speculation following Maina Kageni’s Instagram post on ‘unidentified boy’ Nathan.
On Friday 22, 2018, Classic 105 host Maina Kageni posted a photo with a young boy called Nathan on Instagram attracting different views from netizens who sought to know if indeed he was a father.
“Twinning with Nathan… Took him for his first haircut… Keep smiling…. #JoysOfLife…” the bubbly host posted.
To many, the caption was not complete.
One @habo_ke_254 commented: “I was almost asking who’s baby.
Another, @pauline.wangu.754 added: “Making babies then baby sitting private life ndo hii.”
Well, on his part, the radio personality didn’t want to reveal much but said “Nathan lives a very good life, surrounded by love.”
However, to Kiss 100 presenter Shaffie Weru, his was a more certain ‘guess’ that left many talking.
“Finally you introduce #NathanKageni to Kenya,” wrote Shaffie.
Many took his comment as a revelation to one of Kageni’s top secret.
However, others were still not convinced that Kageni had a son.
To them, Nathan was just one of Kageni’s relative or family friend.
In a move presumed to rest the story,Shaffie Weru has resurfaced after his comment left social media guessing.
This time, the Kiss 100 presenter didn’t post on Maina Kageni’s post but divulged to a local media outlet.
According to Shaffie Weru, Maina is a godparent to Nathan.
“Maina is the godparent to Nathan. On that day, he had taken him for a shave, but, as usual, Kenyans concluded that he was his son,” Shaffie Weru told Heads Up.
In Christianity, a godparent is a person who presents a child at baptism and promises to take responsibility for their religious education.
Nathan’s mother is said to be a close friend and workmate to the radio host.

This is not the first time the Manchester united die-hard fan is receiving speculations on his private life and relationship.
In 2015, Kageni posted a photo of himself with a woman and two kids.
“Three generations,’’ he posted without revealing their relationship with him.
Just like the recent case, Kenyans started talking with some saying he had finally decided to reveal his family.
However, despite the pressure, the secretive radio host didn’t admit to owning a family.
Maina Kageni, is among few celebrities who have managed to keep their personal life and families a secret leaving their fans with little to spur propaganda.
