Makadara member of parliament George Aladwa has been arrested. The reason behind his arrest is yet to be established.

He is being held at the DCIO headquarters. Suna East MP, Junet Mohamed confirmed the arrest of George Aladwa. He was arrested from his Buruburu home late Friday night member.
George Aladwa becomes the second elected member of parliament to be arrest after attending the swearing in ceremony of NASA leader Raila Odinga .
He was among the people who were in the podium alongside Raila during his oath taking process. Self proclaimed general Miguna Miguna was also arrested on Friday but a court released him on a cash bail of Sh50000.
The NASA laders have condemned the arrest of their members saying that they acted within the law during the swearing in of Raila as the people’s president.
