    Man fatally stabs wife, threatens to kill his three children in Kayole

    A woman was stabbed and killed in an altercation and domestic fight in Obama estate, Kayole, Nairobi.

    Police said the incident happened on Tuesday September 2, 2025 in Budalangi area and involved one Eunice Wanjiku Wambui, 32.

    And after killing the woman, the man locked himself in the house with his three children threatening to kill them and die by suicide.

    Locals joined in the rescue efforts before police arrived and rescued the three children.

    This was after they destroyed the roof and the door to access the house in the drama.

    The suspect was also rescued and arrested, police said.

    The body of the woman was found lying in a pool of blood in the sitting room after the murder.

    The motive of the murder was not immediately established.

    Police said the suspect is expected to face murder charges and the body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy and other investigations.

    Police are investigating the murder of a woman in her house in Muthara, Tigania, Meru County,.

    The woman identified as Fridah Nkirote, 39 was fatally stabbed by her boyfriend in an altercation.

    Police said the woman was rushed to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.

    The two had argued in their house before the assailant stabbed her on the ribs.

    The suspect is on the run, police said of the Tuesday September 2, 2025 incident.

    A hunt on the man is ongoing, police said.

    And a man was arrested after he killed his wife and child aged three in Kinangop, Nyandarua County.

    The suspect was arrested as he traveled in a matatu in Lari area, Kiambu County.

    Police said the suspect is the husband of the deceased woman and father of the daughter.

    He is believed to be the prime suspect who caused the death of his wife Mary Wanjiru Njogu, 27 and her daughter Peris Wanjiru aged three on September 2, 2025, police said adding he will be charged with murder.

    In Kangemi, Nairobi County, the body of George Mwangi, 25 was found on the roadside after a suspected murder.

    Police said the murder incident happened on Tuesday night and the number of the assailants is yet to be known.

    The man had deep cuts on the back of his head.

    The motive of the murder was not immediately established and the body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy.
