    Man found dead on roadside after stabbing in robbery in Nairobi

    A pedestrian was found dead after he had been stabbed by suspected thugs in Chokaa area, Nairobi.

    Police believe Aloyce Omondi, alias Stano was attacked and stabbed in the abdomen during a robbery mission. His body was found along Jakom Road on February 18 morning, long after he had been killed.

    The body was later moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy and other procedures.

    A team of detectives visited the scene as part of the probe into the attack.

    And a man died at the Kijana Wamalwa Teaching and Referral Hospital following an assault incident in the Brigadier area.

    Police said they are now investigating murder in the case and that the body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy.

    In Bamburi area, Mombasa, a body of a man was found in a thicket in Kalma Upepo area.

    ‎Police said the body had decomposed and was naked when it was discovered on Wednesday February 18, 2026. And a mason died after falling from the roof of a building under construction in Tinganga area, Kiambu County.

    Police said David Orwa, 37 was connecting gutters at the building when he slipped and fell off landing on his head. The incident happened at Migaa estate where he and other masons were constructing a house.

    The deceased’s body was moved to the mortuary pending an autopsy, police said.

    In Kiamachimbi, Nyeri County, one Elijah Ndiritu Kinyua, 38 was found dead in a bush after suspected murder.

    He had been reported missing on February 12, 2026 by his relatives in Gituri village in Ngandu sub-location.

    Police said his right hand was found severed and lying about three meters away from the body.

    His mobile phone was also found at the scene. The motive of the murder was not immediately known, police said as they moved the body to the mortuary.

    In Muranga’s Kenol area, a boda boda rider identified as Samuel Nganga died in hospital after he was found unconscious on the roadside.
