In Machakos Town, one Jimmy Ndeto Mavika died in hospital after an assault by a Tuktuk driver in a road rage.

The driver is said to have punched the deceased in the head leaving him with fatal injuries.

This followed an altercation that broke out after Mavika accused the driver of attempting to hit him on the road.

Witnesses said the driver alighted and began assaulting the victim by punching him on the head and kicks in the stomach in the March 1, 2026 incident and a report was later made to the police.
