    Maria Carolina Casadevall Gonzaga is a prominent Brazilian actress born on July 24, 1987, in São Paulo, Brazil.

    Standing at 1.76 meters tall, she has made a significant mark in the entertainment industry since beginning her career in 2009.

    Known for her versatile roles in television, film, and theater, she initially gained experience through advertising work starting at the age of 16.

    Casadevall’s career took off with her stage debut in 2009, performing in productions such as Roberto Zucco and Hipóteses Para o Amor e a Verdade with the Satyros theater company in São Paulo.

    By 2011, she secured a contract with Rede Globo, marking her television entry in the miniseries Lara com Z.

    Her breakthrough came in 2013 with a notable role in the telenovela Amor à Vida, which elevated her profile.

    The following year, she led the GNT series Lili, a Ex, based on Caco Galhardo’s comic strip, and returned for its second season in 2016.

    Her subsequent television work includes playing Lilith in Vade Retro and Rimena Garcia in Os Dias Eram Assim, both in 2017, followed by Júlia Bravo in Ilha de Ferro in 2018, and Maria Luiza Carone in the ongoing series Girls from Ipanema starting in 2019.

    She also appeared as a guest judge on Drag Race Brasil in 2023.

    In film, Casadevall has featured in Depois de Tudo as Bebel in 2015, Mulheres Alteradas as Leandra in 2018, and O Caso Morel as Joana in 2019.

    Her theater credits encompass A Nossa Gata Preta e Branca in 2012, Phedras por Phedra in 2016, and Haiti Somos Nós in 2016, showcasing her range across mediums.

    Accolades

    Casadevall has received recognition for her contributions to entertainment, most notably being voted Woman of the Year by GQ Brasil magazine in December 2013, acknowledging her rising influence.

    While she earned multiple award nominations for her role in Amor à Vida, including over half a dozen nods, she secured a win in 2014 for her performance in Lili, a Ex.
