The Marketing Society of Kenya (MSK) has announced its newly elected board members following a Special General Meeting held on January 20, 2026.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, January 9, 2026, MSK said the elections followed the completion of a nomination and vetting process overseen by the Election Committee. The society noted that the successful candidates were formally presented to members during the Special General Meeting.

Zuhura Odhiambo was elected Chairperson of the Society, while Fredrick Otieno was named Vice Chairperson. The board will also include Brendah Mwirichia, Joyce Kigathi and Ms. Njeri Mwangi as Corporate Member Representatives. Nesbit Ochieng, Dr. Faraji Anduku Yatundu and Jackson Gevera were elected as Full Member Representatives.

During the meeting, Ms. Odhiambo thanked the Election Committee for overseeing what she described as a transparent and orderly electoral process. She expressed confidence in the ability of the incoming board to provide effective leadership to the society.

“The Marketing Society of Kenya congratulates the newly elected Board Officials and wishes them success as they assume office,” the statement read.

The society said the board is expected to provide strategic leadership and oversight as it advances its mandate of promoting professional excellence, ethical marketing practices and the growth of the marketing profession in Kenya.
