Migori Woman Representative, Pamela Odhiambo got involved in a grisly road accident on Sunday morning that left one of her bodyguards, Fred Owich, dead.
The accident occurred at Winyo on Rongo-Homa Bay road at about 8 AM on Sunday.
The Representative’s double cabin driver is reported to have been trying to avoid to hit a motorcycle rider when he lost control of the vehicle.
Dr Pamela Odhiambo and two other occupants sustained injuries and were rushed to a Kisumu hospital.
The woman representative is said to have been heading to Homa Bay to join Baringo Senator Gideon Moi in a public rally.
ODM leader, Raila Odinga has sent out a statement to wish Pamela and quick recover and condolences to the bodyguard’s family.
