Miguna Miguna is hitting back at Raila Odinga for purporting that the self declared NRM General refused to be assisted at the airport when he landed on 26 March, 2018. Miguna claims that Raila is reducing his experience to be all self- inflicted.
This response comes after Raila Odinga addressed a gathering in London, United Kingdom on Friday, May 18, explaining why they have not been able to facilitate Miguna’s return back home.

Raila admitted that Miguna’s return was one of the agreements they had with President Uhuru and that he personally called him (Miguna) to come back home but his arrival was met unceremoniously because Miguna did not want to cooperate with the immigration officers.
Miguna admits that he tore the forms presented to him by the immigration because he did not lose his citizenship and that he was being threatened to sign the forms forcibly.

Miguna claims that the ODM Prime Minister is being malicious by claiming that he can easily facilitate his home-coming from Ottawa, Canada.
“It’s completely unacceptable for Mr Odinga to minimize the barbaric treatment I have been subjected to, by suggesting that all I am required to do is go to Ottawa and receive my Kenyan passport, when the Kenya National Commission for Human Rights, a constitutional commission with the only mandate to supervise the compliance of state institutions with respect to human rights wrote to the department of immigration and to Matiang’i, Minister of Interior to demand that they comply with court orders and instead of doing so they have continued to act with impunity.”
He says that Raila is aware of the of the suffering he has gone through and the several court orders that have issued by the High Court since has been a victim of exile himself
Raila urged Miguna to get his travel documents through proper channels at the High Commission in Ottawa so he can come back to Kenya.
