The Ministry of Health has announced over 50 job vacancies to support the implementation of the Safaricom Consortium for Provision of Healthcare Information Technology Digitalization for Universal Healthcare Project.
In a notice issued on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, the ministry stated that it had established a Project Management Office to oversee the project’s rollout.
“The Ministry is undertaking an elaborate process to digitize its health ecosystem—a key enabler in achieving Universal Health Coverage—through the Digital Health Agency (DHA). This body, established under Part II of the Digital Health Act of 2023, is mandated to develop, operationalize, and maintain a secure, comprehensive, and integrated health system,” the statement read.
The ministry is looking to fill various roles, including a Project Manager, several Technical Managers, a Project Support Manager, several Software Engineers, two System Infrastructure Engineers, two Cyber Security Engineers, three Network Operation Engineers, and five Health Informatics Officers.
Other available positions include a Finance Officer, an Accountant, a Supplies and Logistics Officer, a Human Resource and Administration Officer, six Assistant Engineers, an Accounts Assistant, two Office Administrators, three Drivers, and two Office Assistants.
