    Mombasa Developers Meet, Decides to Start Tech Community

    Considering that all cables which have changed the internet access landscape in Kenya pass through Mombasa, it is sad that we have not fully utilised the potential of the Fiber at the coast. Internet connection remains very rare and expensive at the coast. That though would not deter techies from charting the way forward and brainstorming on what they should do to change the situation.

    So Mombasa tech community started by calling an android developer meeting. It was well attended compared to the initial stages of the Nairobi developer community meetings. The meeting was at Mombasa Industrial Training Centre.
