Moses Kuria Denies Incitement Charges, To Be Released On Bail
Moses Kuria, Gatundu South Mp has denied ‘incitement to violence charges contrary to section 96(a) of the Penal Code.
Kuria was arrested on Monday and held overnight at the Pangani Police Station together with former Machakos Senator, Johnston Muthama.
According to the charge sheet, the legislator ‘used abusive words intended to bring physical injury to a person on 5 September at the Wangige Market.’

He is however being released on a 300,000 cash bail and 1 million as a surety that he will handle himself in good conduct pending the trial.
