Starehe Mp Charles Kanyi (Jaguar) has declared Nairobi out of bounds for what he termed “looting spree by NASA supporters.

Jaguar further chided the forthcoming NASA rally set for Jacaranda on the 28th claiming it is “an imaginary swearing in of a perennial political loser” adding that the Opposition chiefs are “unfit to lead Kenya and are eager to destroy our county at every available instance”.

“Nairobi will be hosting over 20 heads of state and hundreds of dignitaries for the swearing in ceremony of H.E Uhuru Kenyatta and H.E William Ruto for the second term.We condemn the planned insult to Kenya’s diplomatic outlook and we request the Inspector General of Police to deal firmly with such attempts to disrupt our peace and dent our international image”, he said.

Jaguar was speaking during a burial ceremony today(November 25) in Magana, Nyeri County.

The MP and Artist claimed the rally which NASA has clarified as a memorial service for its fallen supporters is akin to ” a mad man walking naked in a village when a key ceremony is taking place,”

He joined Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko in condemning Kisumu’s Governor Anyang Nyong’o for comments he made earlier in the week that NASA demonstrations will be henceforth held in Nairobi.

“The constitution only confers that power to the National Police service. We have information that the looting that happened last week disguised as a welcome reception for Raila Odinga had goons ferried from his county,” Jaguar added.

He said the lootings were unacceptable reiterating that “on behalf of the people of Starehe who have been victims to prior looting sprees masquerading as demonstrations in Nairobi CBD, no more of such thuggery will happen in Nairobi.”

He assured that that Nairobi residents are further committed, through Nyumba Kumi /Biashara Kumi Initiative to ensure that no more looting takes place in Nairobi, specifically the CBD.
