Newly elected Nandi Governor, Stephen Sang, on Monday suspended key county officials.
Mr Sang has ordered for a special audit by the Auditor General whose findings he has said will be made public.
He sent home the County budget officer and acting chief officer in charge of finance and Economic planning Henry Koech Maritim. He replaced him with chief officer in charge of Devolution, Julius Koech.
He also appointed Prisca Chepchirchir as county budget officer.
The county boss sent parking his principal finance officer, Emmanuel Wanjala who he replaced with Joyce Jepkoech Rotich.

Head of supply chain management Meshack Tankoi was also sent on compulsory leave. Taking his place will be Wilson Kipchirchir Yebei.
The 32 year old governor said the changes were meant to facilitate a special audit into the financial status of the county government.
Sang was the Senator Nandi county before clinching the governor seat in the August 8 poll.
