Siaya Senator and lead counsel in the just concluded Presidential petition, James Orengo has asked that the IEBC be disbanded.
Speaking at the Supreme Court, Orengo said that they could not trust the current electoral commission to conduct the fresh polls as ordered by the court.
He thanked the court for giving a fair ruling saying that impunity must be finished.’

The Siaya legislator also noted that the ruling made by four of the six judges was the first of its kind in Kenya.
Raila Odinga also pointed out that the NASA coalition does not have faith in the Wafula Chebukati led commission.
”Our journey to Canaan is unstoppable. We have no faith in IEBC which is composed of criminals.”
Delivering the ruling, Chief Justice David Maraga nullified President Uhuru Kenyatta’s re-election citing irregularities.
