News correspondents at the Nation media group are an anxious lot as they may soon be out of job if their passwords are not restored by Friday.

Disabled passwords in the media house usually signals a send off procedure.

The move will mostly affect the Nation newspaper contracted correspondents from the different bureaus around the country. The contracts were supposed to be renewed but the human resource manager had withheld the signing over unclear circumstances.

In a move which the media house has described as a strategic transformation into a modern twenty first century digital content company will see staff whose passwords that will not be reactivated will be out of a job.
