
Former head of Directorate of criminal investigations Ndegwa Muhoro has handed over to newly appointed head of the unit George Kinoti
This hand over took over the president announced that Ndegwa Muhoro had been handed over to the public service commission for redeployment.


Ndegwa Muhoro had served in the position for seven years and said that he had done his best during his tenure.

The former DCI boss asked the senior officers to support George Kinot in carrying out his mandate. He also asked the new boss to complete his projects of investigations in order to make the directorate more effective.

George kinoti was the former head of the kanga squad, an elite police squad that was disbanded in 2006 following public outcry.
He has also served as a personal assistant (PA) to the then Director of CID Joseph Kamau.
