The National Health Insurance Fund (NHIF) has suspended claims on diagnostic tests at hundreds of small and medium sized health facilities.
They have accused the hospital on making claims on procedures they do not provide and has advised the general public to instead go to reputable private hospitals like Mp Shah, Nairobi and Aga Khan.

NHIF CEO,Geoffrey Mwangi has said that the suspension was a move to stop the fraudsters and legal action has already been taken against German Medical Centres.
The diagnostic services such as MRIs and CT scans were introduced to assist people who have chronic diseases.
