Siaya Senator James Orengo has hinted at his party leader Raila Odinga being on the ballot come 2022.
The lawmaker was responding to Deputy William Ruto who stated that he was at the centre of the handshake.
Speaking in Kisumu, the senator told off the presidential hopeful, arguing that the future was not defined.
Orengo, one of Raila’s closest allies told the DP, saying, “lakini 2022 wewe unajua…”
Earlier on in the day, the DP told the people of Kisumu that the political rivalry between himself and Raila was a thing of the past.
“The political rivalry and enmity between me and my big brother Raila has ended today. I’m the elder son of our father Raila and I’m at home here,” he said.
Ruto has made it clear that he will be on the ballot in the coming general election but is yet to launch his presidential campaigns.
