Nyando MP, Fred Outa, recently sold his rural home to a prominent Asian family in Kisumu. The legislator sold his home claiming that he was using the money to pay heavy legal bills he incurred while fighting to retain his seat which he won with a difference of only 700 votes.

The home located close to Rabuor market, was sold few months ago to a relative of Kisumu East MP, Shakeel Shabir.

Now Nyando voters are asking why the Hon Outa sold his rural home as this is taken as someone deserting his constituency. The residents believe that the MP is planning to move to another constituency.
