Former Auntie Boss actress Nyce Wanjeri’s marriage is on the rocks, going by her husband Titus’ rant on Facebook.
Wanjeri has slowly risen to fame and only recently won Best Actress in a comedy and TV series during this year’s Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) held in Lagos, Nigeria.
According to Titus’ post on Facebook, success has taken a toll on their marriage. He says that with the well deserved success has come “absenteeism.”
“Why am I using Facebook? My marriage is over. So painful I swear. I saw it coming though. Success causes absenteeism, lack of bonding and lack of family time. Why did I imagine we last forever? We are both artists. It’s not normal. It doesn’t work,” Titus said on Facebook.
The couple featured on the Parents Magazine in 2017 where they explained how exactly they got together and the harsh times they faced before the money started coming in.
Wanjeri is a mother of one and recently got her contract with Auntie Boss cancelled.
“Now, for 15 seasons, that is almost 200 episodes on NTV, Auntie Boss has been my home. I have been blessed and lucky so far, but that beautiful journey that started 3 or so years ago is soon coming to an end,” she said.
Wanjeri alias Shiro Warugongo is yet to respond to the claims.
