    OdingaSiaya Governor has nominated the son of Oburu Odinga,Jaoko Oburu Odinga to the county executive committee Jaoko a close ally of the governor and his economic advisor has received nomination to the Siaya county executive committee on recommendation by the governor.

    OdingaThe governor has written a letter to the speaker of the county assembly citing section 35(1) of the county government Act of 2012 saying that member of the county executive should reflect the cultural diversity of the county and also take into account the principles of affirmative provided by the e Kenyan constitution.

    Jaoko Oburu Odinga has been nominated as an executive official in charge of the tourism department.

    The nomination awaits the approval of the members of the county assembly.
