    Okiya Omtatah Moves To Court To Seek Clarification On The Validity Of The Fresh Election

    Activist Okiya Omtatah will today move to the High court to raise questions on the validity of the October 26 elections.Justice Mativo will answer the following questions that Okiya Omtatah has raised.

    The activist seeks clarification from the court with regards to whether the IEBC  is organised to conduct the fresh presidential elections on October 26 as ordered by the Supreme court.

    He seeks clarification on the validity of the October 26 elections and if the IEBC should conduct fresh elections as ordered by the supreme court.

    Okiya Omtatah also wants to know the impact of withdrawal of Nasa presidential candidate Raila odinga on the fresh presidential elections

    The activist wants the court to clarify whether  the decision to include Ekuru Aukot has a retrospective application that resurrected the October 26 presidential.

    He also seeks clarify the about laws the election laws can validly be changed by parliament for the fresh the fresh presidential elections.

    He has also raised a question whether IEBC officials under investigations should vacate office temporarily

    Okiya Omtatah also asks if caretaker government headed by the Chief Justice should be formed for 60 days from November 1, 2017.
