Telecommunications solutions provider Telkom Kenya has announced the stepping up of an ongoing 20% Bonus for prepaid airtime top up across its range of products.

The move geared at rewarding and continuously bringing the Orange suite of products and services closer to the people, was unveiled a week ago ahead of St. Valentine’s Day and will continue running to the end of the month.

Consequently, throughout the month of February, all Orange prepaid customers on the network’s Orange Mobile, Orange Wireless and Telkom Fixed services will receive a 20% bonus every time they top-up their accounts.

Speaking when he reiterated the offer, Telkom Kenya Chief Executive Officer Mickael Ghossein noted that: “at Orange we continuously seek to enhance the experience that our customers have when interacting with our service.”

And added: “While giving us an opportunity to reward our customers, we will also be able to share in the spirit of Valentines with our customers by giving them that extra air time that will enable them to talk longer for less.”

The bonus airtime will be earned each time the customer tops-up amounts from Kshs. 20/- to Kshs. 2,000/- and will be redeemed against voice calls or SMS’s sent across the Orange network only.

Customers using the Orange e-top up service popularly known as e-Jaze will also receive the bonus airtime. Bonus airtime will however not be applicable for credit transfer service and will be valid until mid-night February 28, 2010 only.

Within the month of February, Orange also exclusively introduced the iconic new iPhone 3GS Smartphone. Following a global licensing deal with Apple Computers the manufacturers of the iPhone range of smart phones, Kenyan consumers can now exclusively access original iPhone 3GS handsets at all Orange shops countrywide.

The iconic Smart phone globally described as the fastest, most powerful iPhone yet is packed with incredible new features including improved speed and performance.
