Gor Mahia transfer target Pascal Ogweno is among nine players released by Kariobangi Sharks.

Kahawa Tungu last week reported that the defender is among players top on K’Ogalo’s transfer wish list.

Ogweno’s contract is set to expire on 31 December 2018 but refused to negotiate new terms as his desire is to join the reigning Kenyan Premier League champions, according to close sources.

Gor will reportedly offer him a three-year contract.

Sharks are in the process of strengthening their squad ahead of a busy season which will see them represent the country in the CAF Confederation Cup for the first time.
