Two nurses stationed at Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital, Nairobi are receiving treatment after being attacked by patients last night.
According to Citizen, three civilians walked into the facility demanding to get treatment. The caregivers are said to have declined to attend to them.
They apparently got worked up after they were notified that the nurses on duty were attending to other pressing matters.
This got them worked up forcing them to brutally attack the nurses.

Two of the three attackers have since been apprehended and will be charged accordingly on Monday.
Cases of attacks on medical practitioners have become rampant with Kenyatta National Hospital nurses asking the government for protection back in 2018.
This was after a nurse was strangled by a patient’s relative. The patient had died after spending more than three-and-a-half months in a ward.
