    PesaPoint Now Plugs into KCB QuickServe ATMs

    KCB yesterday entered into partnership with Paynet Group in which PesaPoint member bank cardholders will be able to withdraw money through the KCB QuickServe ATMs in Kenya.

    The deal will see PesaPoint connected cardholders access their accounts as well as enquire about  their balance in any of the  KCB QuickServe Automated Teller Machines (ATMs). KCB and PesaPoint  first had a partnership launched three years ago in which KCB clients could withdraw money from PesaPoint ATMs but that has now been take a notch higher.

    KCB account holders can access their cash through any PesaPoint and Kenswitch ATMs.  KCB has over 340 ATMs all over the country. Bernard Matthewman, CEO of Paynet Group and KCB CEO, martin Oduor-Otieno were present. PesaPoint has over 2.5 million bank card holders. KCB QuickServe ATM network distribution is as follows; Kenya (331); Sudan (19); Rwanda (11); Tanzania (15) and Uganda (15).

    KCB looks to upgrade its ATMs to allow for utility bill payments annd cardless transactions through M-PESA in the next six months. The bank will also increase another 10 ATMs by June to support its 24-hour banking transactions.
