Peter Munya, PNU party leader was earlier today at State House to meet with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
He had earlier put out a letter to party supporters urging them to support Kenyatta.
He had last week rallied his support behind the NASA leader, Raila Odinga and even said that he too would file a petition challenging Meru governor Kiraitu Murungi.

Also ‘going back home’ was CCM party leader, Isaac Rutto who last week joined the ruling party, decamping from NASA where he was a co-principal.
Rutto said, during a rally in Kapkatet in Kericho that he ‘felt lonely’ in the NASA camp.
Making a complete turn around over the weekend were Odinga’s staunch supporters; Reuben Ndolo and Fred Gumo.
