Police Chopper Makes Emergency Landing In Migori, Officers Unhurt

A police helicopter has made an emergency landing in Migori county on Tuesday evening.

The occupants escaped unhurt, said county Police Commandant, Joseph Nthenge.

Police say the chopper, model 5Y-SFA, was flying to Migori when it developed a mechanical problem that a team from Nairobi could not fix.

The officers were on a surveillance exercise when the accident took place at a farm in Rapogi in Uriri sub county.
