Details have emerged on the woman who died after falling from the sixth-floor of a short stay house in Kileleshwa, Nairobi.

She was identified as 22-year-old Murang’a University student and influencer Consolata Githinji, popularly known as “Connie”.

Police arrested a 33-year-old man who was with her.
According to the police, the incident occurred on April 26, 2026, at around 5:00 a.m.

Police said an unidentified woman had fallen from the 6th floor of Block C, House and landed on the 3rd basement level, sustaining fatal injuries.

Upon arrival at the scene, duty officers and detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) identified the deceased as Consolata Githinji, a 22-year-old woman.

Police noted visible injuries on the head, ribs, and hands.
Preliminary reports indicate that the deceased had been in the company of a man, a 33-year-old businessman Tony Odhiambo, during the night of April 25–26, 2026, at the short stay apartment within the building.

Crime scene investigators documented and processed the scene before the body was moved to City Mortuary Nairobi for preservation pending autopsy.

Police also confirmed that the man had been taken into custody as a person of interest to assist with ongoing investigations.

Police want to understand what transpired to lead to the fatal fall.

There are suspicions the two fought in the room before the woman fell off.

CCTV captured her arrival with the man just minutes before chaos erupted inside the apartment.

By dawn, her body lay on the ground floor and the man insists she jumped.

Consolata , arrived at 4:17 am Sunday with Odhiambo, 33.

At 4:32 am a disturbance broke out inside the unit.

The door flew open, and a guard entered briefly before leaving.

Consolata was last seen alive shortly after the guard’s departure. Her body was found at 5:30 am on the ground floor.

The apartment was booked by Odhiambo’s friend, not him. Earlier occupants two women and one man checked out just before 4 am.

Odhiambo claims Consolata threw herself from the balcony.

Police continue investigating while he remains detained.
