    Police Nab 1,000Kgs Of Illegal Cooking Gas At An LPG Filling Centre

    Police in Voi have seized over 1,000 kilograms of cooking gas during a raid at an illegal LPG filling centre along the Nairobi-Mombasa Highway.

    According to reports, 4 suspects have so far been arrested.

    Earlier on, DCI detectives intercepted 500Kgs of narcotics packed in 52 bags-concealed tea packets at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

    Reports indicate the package was sent by various exporters and was on transit to the United States, Australia and Austria.

    Also nabbed at the airport was Heroin weighing approximately 12 Kilograms concealed in two radio speakers and declared as traditional baskets and sandals.

    This particular consignment was delivered for export by a clearing agent, and was destined for Monrovia, Liberia.

    Another heroin consignment concealed in 48 boxes of Lip Gloss destined for Port Harcourt was also nabbed.
