    Police Camp Outside Senator Cleophas Malala House, Block Him From Anti IEBC Protests

    Kakamega senator Cleophas Malala has been placed under house arrest,earlier today police raided his house purporting that he was planning to lead the anti IEBC protests in the county.

    The senator said that he had applied for permits and they were acknowledged only for him to be told that the permits he had acquired last week had been cancelled.

    He said that about fifty policemen had camped outside his house to make sure that he does not leave.

    Cleophas Malala said that he will not be intimidated and that Jubilee party should be told that NASA will not relent.

    He went on to say that that  the Anti IEBC protest will still go on in the county whether he is present or not.

    NASA have given IEBC ‘irreducible minimums’  for them to adhere to in order for NASA to participate in the October 26 elections.They still insist that there will be no elections without reforms.
