    Police Withdrawn From Uhuru Park As Supporters Await Raila’s Arrival

    nasa, swearing inUhuru Park is no longer a ‘no-go zone’ after police officers manning the area were withdrawn allowing NASA supporters make their way into the grounds.

    The officers were asked to leave in order to avoid confrontations between themselves and the opposition supporters who are awaiting the arrival of their leaders.

    The supporters are expected to have arrived by 8.30am and legislators, governors at 9.00am.

    Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka will make their grand entrance at around 10. The ceremony is expected to be over by 2pm.

    Homa Bay Woman Representative, Gladys Wanga has already arrived at the venue and insists that the swearing in ceremony will take place.
