    Political Tension Rises As Governor Obado Hosts DP Ruto In Migori

    Political tension is set to take center stage in Migori as embattled governor Okoth Obado prepares to host Deputy President William Ruto.

    The two will in Suna West constituency to launch a tarmac road between Masara and Muhuru beach and then proceed to address a rally at Masara trade center.

    Mr Anyuor the communications officer at the county office confirmed that they will be hosting the Deputy President for the launch but was quick to dismiss any political partnerships that may be assumed.  the visit was also confirmed by Kuria West Member of Parliament Mathias Robi who is a close ally to the DP

    “Mr Ruto is coming to Migori to launchthe construction of the road. Jubilee is keen on developing all regions in Kenya,” He told the Nation.

    The Minority Whip and Suna East Member of  Parliament Junet Mohamed however said that he had been left in the dark with launch and was not aware of it. He however claimed that the launch was a political statement as the road was already in use for the last three years and that it had already been launched and constructed by the coalition government.

    This launch will Obado’s first public engagement since he was released on bail, he is accused of killing his lover Sharon Otieno and her unborn child. The embattled governor is also facing  corruption charges.

    A few days ago a delegation from Migori attempted to have a meeting with the DP but it failed to take place as the said organizer failed to turn up.
