Porting Access Kenya is challenging the the accusations leveled against it by Safaricom in the MNP related suit filed in Nairobi High Court.

According to media reports, Porting Access filed a notice of objection on Monday in the courts arguing that there are means of arbitrations spelled out in the CCK regulations guiding the whole porting process.

The company says that Safaricom has not exhausted those avenues and so courts cannot intervene at this stage but only at the moment when arbitration would fail.

Safaricom went to court following the disagreement between it and Porting Access over the technical hitches which have plagued the whole porting process.

Safaricom gained court orders barring Musimba and Porting Access from linking it to the sabotage of mobile number porting in Kenya.
