    President Ruto Revokes Appointments In Government Agencies

    President William Ruto has revoked the appointment of Joe Owaka Ager as the Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Pyrethrum Processing Company of Kenya.

    The revocation took effect on January 31, 2025.

    In a gazette notice dated the same day, the President also revoked the appointment of Kiema Mwandia as a Member of the Tanathi Water Works Development Agency Board.

    Defence Cabinet Secretary Soipan Tuya appointed Col. S. C. Yator, Col. (Rtd.) L. L. Muluvi, Col. (Rtd.) M. M. Nchuurai, and Elly Ongei as members of the Kenya Defence Forces Pension Appeals Committee for a three-year term, effective January 31, 2025.

    Tourism and Wildlife Cabinet Secretary Rebecca Miano named Nancy Waturi Mathenge as a member of the Kenya Wildlife Service Board of Trustees for a three-year term.

    Water, Sanitation, and Irrigation Cabinet Secretary Eric Mugaa appointed Nicholas Wambua Muthangya to the Board of Directors of the Tanathi Water Works Development Agency.

    In another appointment, Micro and Small Enterprise Authority welcomed Martha Wanjiru Miano as a member of its Board of Directors for a three-year term, following her appointment by CS Oparanya.

    In the health sector, Leonard K. Sang was named to the Kenyatta University Teaching, Referral and Research Hospital Board.
