Quinten Timber Siblings: Meet the Siblings Squad Behind the Football Player

Quinten Ryan Crispito Timber is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Ligue 1 club Olympique de Marseille and the Netherlands national team.
Born on 17 June 2001 in Utrecht, he is of Curaçaoan descent through both parents.
The family adopted their mother’s surname, Timber, rather than their father’s name, Maduro.
Known for his energy, technical ability, and leadership in central midfield, Timber rose through the Dutch football system and has established himself as a senior international.
Siblings
Quinten is one of five brothers in a close-knit family raised primarily by their mother, Marilyn, in Utrecht.
He is the identical twin of Jurriën Timber, a defender who plays for Arsenal and the Netherlands national team.
Their older brother Dylan Timber is also a professional footballer who plays as a defender for VVV-Venlo in the Dutch second tier and has represented Curaçao at international level.
The two eldest brothers are Shamier, who works in IT, and Christopher, a successful player agent who has represented the footballing siblings.
Career
Timber began his football journey at local clubs including DVSU before joining the Feyenoord youth academy with his twin brother.

In 2014 the pair moved to Ajax’s youth system, where Quinten progressed through the ranks and featured for Jong Ajax in the Eerste Divisie.
He made his senior breakthrough after transferring to hometown club FC Utrecht in 2021 on a free transfer, enjoying a strong debut professional season that earned him recognition as the club’s player of the year.
In the summer of 2022 he joined Feyenoord for a reported fee of around €8.5 million, returning to a club where he had spent formative youth years.
At Feyenoord he became a key midfielder, was later appointed captain, and contributed to major domestic successes.
In January 2026 he moved abroad for the first time, signing for Olympique de Marseille.
Internationally he represented the Netherlands at multiple youth levels and made his senior debut in 2024, later featuring in World Cup qualifying and being named in the squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Accolades
With the Netherlands under-17 team, Timber was part of the side that won the 2018 UEFA European Under-17 Championship.
At club level with Feyenoord he collected an Eredivisie title in the 2022–23 season, the KNVB Cup in 2023–24, and the Johan Cruyff Shield.
Earlier youth honours include Dutch under-17 and under-19 titles with Ajax.
On an individual level he was named FC Utrecht Player of the Year (David di Tommaso Trophy) for the 2021–22 season.
