NASA principals, Raila Odinga and Kalonzo Musyoka have had their security detail withdrawn.
The two opposition leaders each had 10 bodyguards who according to sources were recalled on belief that they had radio to monitor police communication.
The duo is now relying on private security as the politics heat up.
RaiLonzo as they are referred to have been at loggerheads with the government as they call for the disbandment of the IEBC.
The Jubilee government has maintained that the electoral body will conduct the October 26 election as is currently constituted.

The opposition will today stage protests outside the IEBC offices seeking to oust the CEO Ezra Chiloba, Immaculate Kassait, Wafula Chebukati among others.
Should they be successful, the October elections will have to be called off to a later date.
The opposition wants a ‘caretaker government’ to take over after President Uhuru Kenyatta’s term lapses on November 1.
