Kipkorir is an environmental consultant and climate change specialist and currently chairs NEMA’s Environmental Management, Conservation and Technical Committee.

In the Defence docket, CS Soipan Tuya appointed Colonel Richard Mbuva to the Kenya Defence Forces Pension Appeals Committee for a three-year term starting December 11, 2025.

Water CS Eric Mugaa appointed Lorna Timanoi Nkowua as a member of the Central Rift Valley Water Works Development Agency for three years, replacing Letulala ole Masikonde.

Education CS Julius Ogamba named James Mugambi Kimathi as Chairperson of the Mitunguu National Polytechnic Council for a three-year term. He also appointed Benjamin Okumu Okullu, Susan Mwebia, Stephen Rukaria, Edward Omoti, and Joan Gituma as members of the council for three years.

Lands CS Alice Wahome appointed several committees to delineate municipal boundaries. She named Irene Kyatu of the IEBC to chair the committee for the proposed Municipality of Siakago in Embu County. In Turkana County, Mathew Thiga of IEBC will chair the committee to define boundaries for Lodwar and Kakuma Municipalities, with Solomon Ambwere as secretary.
