Suna East MP Junet Mohamed has claimed that his life is in danger.
According to the minority whip in the National Assembly, those responsible for the death of Sharon Otieno are threatening him as well.
Taking to Twitter, Junet said: “Sharon killers are planning to assassinate me and I got your threats … A Muslim does not fear death.”

Ms Otieno was found dead in Kodero Forest, with multiple stab wounds. Postmortem results showed that the deceased had been raped during the ordeal.

Her boyfriend, Migori County Governor Okoth Obado was charged with her murder alongside his aides; Caspal Obiero and Michael Oyamo.
The two are still in remand at Industrial Area Prison as they await trial in May 2019.
