11th Parliament Leader of Majority, and Garissa town MP-elect, Aden Duale has said that NASA Members of Parliament should miss the swearing in slated for Thursday, 31 August at their own risk.

He said that the swearing was necessary in case the supreme court ruled in favour of NASA Presidential candidate, Raila Odinga.

He pointed out that the Parliamentary Accounts Committee needed to reconvene to approve the run off budget.

The leader of majority said that only if sworn in will the MPs elect get the benefits and privileges and that they cannot access assigned functions and authorities.

The Elgeyo Marakwet  Senator Kipchumba Murkomen also echoed Duale’s sentiments.
