Contestants in the Citizen TV series Slimpossible an angry lot after being denied access to key amenities which should help them realise their goal of losing weight.

According to some members of the cast and production, the Royal Club which is located along Mucai Drive in Nairobi has blocked them from accessing their fitness facilities for the last 2 weeks for non payment of fees. The contestants and members of the production team were not privy to the agreements but they claim that one Mike Wanyonyi from the club blocked them through a Whatsapp message.

As if that is not enough, the contestants who are now 10 from the initial 16, are asking why the Karen Hospital forces them to pay check-up fees from their own pockets while the TV station always announce that CIC insurance caters for the same.

One source from Royal Media Group claim that the media house is facing extreme financial difficulties. The headquarters of the leading media house now operates without running water after the same was disconnected over non-payment of bills.

The staff now relies on the nearby Alfajiri restaurant for sanitary services.
