Tammy Abraham, full name Kevin Oghenetega Tamaraebi Bakumo-Abraham, born on 2 October 1997 in Camberwell, Greater London, is an English professional footballer who plays as a striker for Premier League club Aston Villa.
The powerful forward is known for his aerial ability, clinical finishing, hold-up play, and physical presence.
Of Nigerian descent through his father, Abraham rose through Chelsea’s academy and has enjoyed a career spanning multiple loans, a move to Italy with Roma, further spells abroad, and a return to Aston Villa, where he has continued to make an impact in the Premier League and European competitions.
Siblings
Tammy has a younger brother, Timmy Abraham, who is also a professional footballer playing as a forward, most recently with clubs such as Tonbridge Angels.
The brothers share a strong bond, with Tammy often supporting Timmy’s matches.
Their father, Tamaraebi Bakumo, has been involved as an agent for the brothers.

Career
Abraham joined Chelsea’s academy at a young age and made his senior debut in 2016.
To gain experience, he went on several loans: at Bristol City in the Championship, where he excelled with over 20 goals and swept individual awards; at Swansea City in the Premier League; and notably at Aston Villa in 2018–19, scoring 26 goals and helping secure promotion.
He returned to Chelsea and contributed to their 2021 Champions League triumph.
In 2021, he transferred to Roma, winning the Europa Conference League in his first season with impressive goal tallies.
Subsequent loans and spells at AC Milan and Beşiktaş followed, before he rejoined Aston Villa permanently in early 2026.
Internationally, he has represented England at various youth levels and earned senior caps, while remaining eligible for Nigeria earlier in his career.
Accolades
With Chelsea, Abraham won the UEFA Champions League (2021) and UEFA Super Cup (2021). At Roma, he secured the UEFA Europa Conference League (2022).
With AC Milan, he lifted the Supercoppa Italiana (2024–25), and with Aston Villa, he won the UEFA Europa League (2025–26).
