Diamond Platnumz’s Kenyan lover Tanasha Donna has explained her frequent trips to Tanzania.
According to Tanasha, she spends most of her weekends at Diamond’s residence in Tanzania because the singer’s security protocol can’t allow him to visit her two-bedroom apartment alone.
Further, the NRG presenter revealed that her efforts to convince Diamond to come over, have not been successful citing convenience reasons.
“I spend most of my weekends in Diamond’s house. I have tried to have him come to my apartment and it has been hard because he has to come with his entourage, which includes security and the whole hullabaloo,” Tanasha told a local daily.
She noted that Diamond being a celeb, he would not want the world to know he’s around as that will create unnecessary drama.
“This means everyone will get to know he is around, and that is what he wants to avoid,” she said.
Moreover, Tanasha said for the same reasons she has to sacrifice a lot to be with her lover.
“I actually got a week off, so am here with him. I have not been feeling too well.”
Recently, Tanasha disclosed to a local daily that dating a celeb came with many challenges which she has been forced to put up with.
Top on her list are ‘women’. She revealed that like many women, she gets insecure.
“I do feel insecure dating diamond, ” she said.
Despite frequent backlash from social media sometimes, Tanasha revealed her love for diamond drives her.

“At the beginning of the relationship, I used to cry daily… I almost fell into depression,” she said.
However, the lass said Diamond has been a great pillar in their journey.
“He told me the social media drama I’m facing is nothing compared to his past relationships. But once his fans realize he is indeed serious with our relationship, they will show support,” she said.
