Residents of Tassia estate woke up to fire in Mabatini area in Embakasi. Over 200 houses were burnt down completely.

The fire broke out at 2 AM and is suspected to have started from a hotel nearby, igniting the gas cylinders that were in surrounding areas, causing the fire to spread quickly.

The incident happened in the area next to Mobil Petrol station along outer ring road.

Many residents lost their properties during the incident. No casualties have been reported so far.
