Three diplomats were on Tuesday evening involved in a road accident along the busy Nairobi — Mombasa highway.
The three; Brenda Mudenda (Zambia Ambassador to Kenya), Duke Lephoko (Botswana Ambassador to Kenya) and Kama Wasa (Zambian diplomat) were reportedly heading to Nairobi after holding a meeting at Maanzoni lodge, Machakos County.
The accident occurred after the car transporting the Zambian envoys collided with a trailer. The vehicle then hit the third car carrying the Botswana diplomat.
They have according to Citizen been rushed to Machakos Level 5 Hospital where they are receiving treatment.
Their drivers sustained minor injuries.
